Energy Drink producer Red Bull has described a Daily Guide, January 14, 2011 article about a ban by the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) as "false".
Below is its official staement.
Official Statement
"The statement issued by the Consumer Protection Agency on 11 January 2011 about Red Bull" Energy Drink can immediately be seen to be entirely false.
No one anywhere has ever shown any negative effects from consuming our product; that is why health authorities in 160 countries across the world have concluded that Red Bull Energy Drink is safe to consume.
Contrary to what the Consumer Protection Agency stated, no bans is imposed on Red Bull by France, Denmark or Norway. Last year alone, close to four billion cans and bottles were consumed across the world. About 27 billion cans have been consumed since Red Bull was created 24 years ago."
