Vodafone Ghana has launched the Vodafone Unit Transfer Service that gives pre-paid customers the convenience of topping up their credit without going through the hassle of scratching the foil on the scratch card and the difficulty in entering the 13 digit numbers correctly.A statement from Vodafone Ghana says the service allows customers to top up with denominations as low as 10GP which is not available with scratch cards.The service further ensures that, there are available stocks of top up credit in varied denominations on the market as compared with the current situation where there are occasional shortages of some denominations in some communities.“Vendors of Vodafone products carry the credit transfer equipment ready to transfer any amount from 10Gp to customers and it is loaded instantly,” Vodafone Ghana Communications Manager, Isaac Abraham told Asempa News.The statement quoted Head of Corporate Communications, Carmen Bruce-Annan as saying “Vodafone Ghana is always looking at innovative ways to empower our customers.”It said with the introduction of the Vodafone unit transfer service, Vodafone customers are always in touch with families, friends and business contacts because they have readily available credit. “The Vodafone Unit Transfer Service allows customers to realise the exact value of what they pay for and also enjoy the Vodafone Talk n Talk promotion bonus of 50% to 75% when topped up with GHC2 and above,” the statement said.Story by: Samuel Nii Narku Dowuona/Asempa FM/Ghana
