Accra, 3rd February, 2011 - MTN Ghana on Thursday opened the first of five Customer Service Centers in Accra to bring quality customer service close to the doorsteps of its customers.
The opening of the new customer service centers complements MTN Ghana’s already existing 60 customer service centers across the country. The new centers can be found in the following locations: Nkrumah circle near Busy Internet, Accra Central (Kantamanto), Spintex Road, Tesano, and Legon.
The new centers will serve as sales points for MTN products and services, Mobile Money merchant points, products and services education and service demonstration, payment points for monthly bills, sim registration centers amongst others.
During the opening of the branch at Nkrumah Circle, the Sales and Distribution Executive of MTN, Mr. Ebenezer Asante said MTN is delighted at the opening of the branches which he believes will help develop the required familiarity with subscribers as well as facilitate a warmer relationship with them.
“We are poised to use the Service Centers to deliver superior customer experience to position MTN in the minds of customers as a caring organisation that desires to get closer to its customers to deepen relations and to appreciate them for making MTN leader in the telecommunications industry”
“We believe that getting closer to our customers through the service centers will enable MTN understand our customers needs and work towards providing world class telecommunications services for their benefit”, he added.
The opening of the centers comes closely after the launch of the Mobile Money Bill Payment Service last December. The service which is also customer centered affords MTN customers the ease and convenience of paying their electricity and DSTV bills using their mobile handsets.
MTN subscribers are also currently enjoying such unbeatable value offerings, - The Real Value call plans which are MTN Talk-a-lot, MTN So Cool and MTN So Easy that enables subscribers to enjoy the lowest call rate of 7.5 pesewas per minute. On the newly enhanced MTN Zone our subscribers can now make calls for as low as 1.5 pesewa per a minute. Other services include the Fonmail service, Phone Back Up service and the Pay4Me service.
