Black Satellites Coach Orlando Wellington says he is still expecting majority of the 11 invited foreign-based players to join the team as they prepare for their title defence at next month’s Africa U-20 Nations Cup in Libya.
This follows reports that most European clubs may not release the Ghanaian players for the continental competition.
The Satellites will assemble in Barcelona, Spain on March 3 for a ten-day pre-tournament camping and are scheduled to arrive in Libya three days before the commencement of the championship.
Coach Orlando Wellington is counting on the assurance of the foreign-based players to turn up for the competition.
He said even all of them don’t come, he is confident a significant number will.
