Ghana’s immediate benefit of Kwesi Nyantakyi’s election to serve on the Caf Executive Committee has seen defeated opponent Anjorin Moucharaf changed as match commissioner for crucial African Cup of Nations against Congo next month.Eyebrows were raised on Thursday after the Benin FA boss was appointed to oversee the match scheduled for Brazaville on 26 March. It was seen as a move to victimize the Black Stars following an embarrassing defeat to the candidate who had the backing of CAF president Issa Hayatou.Nyantakyi appealed to the head of the CAF Competitions Committee and had Moucharaf replaced.Ghana need a win against Congo to maintain their chances of qualifying for the finals to be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.Source: Ghanasoccernet
