Ghana’s female Olympic team, the Black Princesses have made it to the final round of qualifiers to the 10th All Africa Games to be staged in Maputo, Mozambique in September this year.
The Princesses put up a great performance to beat their Liberian counterparts 7 goals to nil at the El Wak sports Stadium.
The score puts the Princesses 11 goals to nil on aggregate. They will now face Nigeria in the final round of qualifiers.
Ghana’s best achievement at the All Africa Games in the female category was a bronze medal won by the Black Princesses in Algeria in 2007.
Captain Mercy Mylles, Cynthia Adobea, Alice Danso were all on the score sheet for the Princesses.
