After the successful launch of the Tecno Phantom 6 and 6 plus a few weeks ago, it was a real delight to have received the Phantom 6 and already we can say, it’s really worth the talk.
First attraction is the packaging of the phone and its accessories and you’ll know why in a bit.

At first sight, it is one beautifully-branded big black box but opening it reveals they are two, with one being what has been branded the GIFT BOX and yes, there are some real gifts in there - earphones, a tempered glass for the screen, an OTG adaptor and a smart cover for the phone which also holds a pin aid for inserting SIM cards. Did I mention there are two slots for storing SIM cards in the smart cover as well?
Just when you think you have seen it all, the bigger (main) box reveals the flashy phone and under it, another compartment housing a USB cable (type C) and a charger with two removable heads.

Now let’s take a moment to take a look at a few of specifications of the phone:
Android 6.0 marshmallow + HiOS
5.5’’ Full HD Screen
2.0 GHz Octa-Core Processor
3GB RAM
32GB internal memory + Memory card slot
Dual SIM
13MP Auto-Focus + 5MP fixed-focus dual rear camera with dual LED flash
8MP front camera with flash
2,700 mAh non-removable battery
USB Type C Light Speed Charge
Eye Scanner
Now to first impressions, the phone’s slim build gives it a very sleek feel when held in one’s hand. And for all who like to have their phones ‘handy’, this is definitely a good bargain.
At the top of the phone is the 3.5mm jack audio port and at the bottom, the USB type C port flanked on the left and right by the speaker and microphone. On the right side are the volume control and power buttons and on the left, the SIM cards and external memory card slots.
The phone runs on the Android 6.0 marshmallow + HiOS on a unique and attractively dark theme and is very user-friendly.
It is currently available all over the country and is selling at about GHC 900.00. Now that’s definitely the best deal available for a phone of this caliber! Grab yours now.
