The Patriotic Professionals Ghana (PPG) has congratulated Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on his election as the 5th President of the 4th Republic of Ghana.
“With your vast political experience and exposure, gathered in the last forty years, we are confident you can bring the change you promised the people of Ghana,” the group said.
PPG says Nana Akufo-Addo is taking the mantle of leadership at a time when patriotism was fast giving way to “cronyism self-service, egocentrism and tribalism,” and urged the incoming administration to work assiduously to bring back the sense of patriotism and the love of Ghana in the hearts of Ghanaians.
“As an organisation, that provides humanitarian services, we shall diligently work with you to ensure Ghana moves to the direction you have promised the people Ghana.
“The task ahead is huge, but we have confidence in your ability to deliver,” PPG said in a statement signed by its executive director, Eric Nartey Yeboah.
