For many of the transport operators in the metropolis the Easter holidays has been good for them in terms of business.This is because of the huge number of persons who had to travel to their villages or hometowns during these holidays.A visit to most of the major transport terminals Easter Friday revealed a small number of travellers because majority of them left yesterday and the previous days.A Director with one of the transport operators, VIP Transport Richard Kusi told Joy News returns have been good especially during these holidays.
He said on average, 80 buses trek to Kumasi and back but the number has increased dramatically, he noted.Joy News checks with the various terminals revealed that majority of persons travelling are heading to Kwahu in the eastern region.Source: Joy News/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
