More Ivorian Nationals are said to be taking up residence at Nsuta in the Ashanti Region.
The Ivorians are believed to be fleeing attacks by supporters of Ivory Coast new President Alhassane Ouattara.
Over a hundred of them are said to be pitching camp in the town and claiming to be descendants of Ivory Coast first President, Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
Nhyira FM's Ohene Tawia reported that NADMO officials are struggling to contain the situation.
He added that NADMO officials in the District are collaborating with the Ghana Health Service in screening the Ivorians after which the Immigration service will register them.
The District NADMO Cordinator,Mr Donkor Fuseini, says they have currently ran out of facilities to contain the Ivorianns whose number is likely to rise as the District assembly has been reliably informed that more refugees are on their way to Ghana.
Mr Fuesini also added that what they currently need is more tents to be able to accommodate the increasing numbers of refugees in the town.
Some Ghanaian Nationals are also said to be among the Ivorian nationals fleeing the attacks.
Hundreds of people were killed and millions displaced in the Political unrest in Ivory Coast after last November's elections at which the then President Laurant Gbagbo refused to cede power Mr Ouattara.
Gbagbo was however arrested last month by forces loyal to Ouattara who was sworn into office Friday inside the presidential palace.
