Four Ghanaians have been admitted to the Ghana National Honorary Awards of Fame, GNAHAF, of the Ghana Country Award Council.
A statement issued by Mr Cecil Nii Obodai Wentum, an official of the Ghana Country Award Council, said their names would be attached to categories of honours in the National Honorary Awards of Fame.
It listed them as: The John Agyekum Kufuor Honorary Fellowship Award for Distinguished Contribution to Youth Development; The Otumfuo Osei Tutu Cultural Excellence Award; The Dr Nii Narku Quaynor ICT Excellence Award and The Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo Research Skills Excellence Award in Exploration and Discovery.
“It is hoped that the achievements and contributions of these great personalities would serve as benchmarks for Ghanaians to strive to match up to,” the statement said.
“Recipients of these awards should be proud of their contributions to national development.”
The statement said the awards were targeted at the youth, individuals, institutions and corporate organizations who contributed their quota to national developmental agenda.
