Police in Suntreso have charged a 72-year old, palmwine tapper with murder for allegedly stabbing his nephew over his love affair.The deceased, Akwasi Asante had pounced on his uncle, Kofi Tuah when he saw him having sex with a woman he (deceased) was interested in.The Suntreso District Commander, ASP Daniel Amoako who confirmed the story to Joy News said the deceased attacked his uncle and subjected him to severe beating after sacking the woman from the room.He said the suspect in self defence used his knife for tapping palmwine to stab his newphew.The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Okomfo Anokye Hospital Mortuary.ASP Amoako said the suspect has been provisionally charged with murder and will appear before court.Source: Joy News/Ghana
