The hearing of the alleged sexual molestation of Amina Mohammed by some students of the Mensah Sarbarh Hall of the University of Ghana has been adjourned to next month.
In court on Monday, the prosecution asked the judge to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of four accused persons who are believed to have absconded.
Lawyers for the accused however insisted the boys were available.
The trial Judge, Mrs Georgina Mensah-Datsa asked the lawyers to make sure the four are charged and brought to court on the next adjourned date.
Joy News’ Nana Agyei Essuman who was in court reported that the court premises was crowded with students from the University of Ghana and some family members of the accused who came to solidarise with the suspects.
Some family members expressed frustration and disappointment at the failure of the court to hear the case.
They argued they had travelled from far places to the capital to witness the trial only to be told the case had been adjourned.
