The Association of Ghana Industries has welcomed the new policy aimed at growing the industrial sector.The industrial policy and industrial support programme, launched Wednesday is expected to transform enterprises, generate employment and strengthen the country’s trade and industrial position.President of AGI, Nana Owusu Afari told Joy Business, industry is about to experience a total transformation particularly with the inclusion of the sector support programme.He said the policy is to make the policy actionable. The target completion year is expected to be 2015.The AGI is however calling for full participation of all stakeholders in ensuring the policy is fully implemented.Source: Joy Business/Ghana
