Electrical engineering firm, Anointed Electrical Services plans to establish a million-dollar electro-mechanical workshop in the Ashanti region.
The company is hopeful the Center will afford technical and engineering students practical experience to compliment their theoretical knowledge.
Managing Director of Anointed Electrical, Samuel Adjei Boateng announced this during the official opening of the company’s office in Kumasi.
Established 8 years ago, the company has been at the forefront in the provision of electricity power generating machines in Ghana.
Mr. Boateng also disclosed the company plans to establish a plant to assemble generating sets in Ghana.
Mr. Boateng stated the company has significantly contributed to reducing graduate unemployment by offering placements for polytechnic graduates to apply their engineering knowledge.
He called on government to grant indigenous Ghanaian companies special tax incentives to enable them compete favorably with their foreign counterparts.
