Health Minister, Joseph Yieleh Chire is urging health administrators to set aside some funds to manage medical waste.He says government is seeking to pass a law that will strictly monitor and sanction health institutions which flout existing policy regulations on the disposal of medical waste.Mr. Yieleh Chire was speaking to Joy News about a JOY FM documentary which revealed serious lapses in the management of medical wastes at some health facilities.Play the attached audio and listen to a follow up on an earlier documentary.
