Prudential Bank will soon introduce Internet Banking (netWise), said
Dr Joseph Okine-Afrane, Deputy Managing Director in charge of Finance and Credit Administration.Speaking at the official launch of the Bank’s Transaction Alert Service, otherwise known as alertwise, Mr Okine-Afrane said when hooked onto the Internet, the bank’s customers would be able to access banking services.He said the introduction of electronic banking products was part of PBL’s strategy in modernizing its traditional banking activities to provide quick, expedient, timely and convenient banking services to customers during and outside banking hours.Mr Okine-Afrane said Visa Mastercards would also be introduced before the end of the year.Deputy Managing Director in charge of Banking Operations, Mrs Mary Brown, noted that apart from enabling customers to better manage their finances, alertwise would provide them with account balance and transaction updates.Source: GNA
