Mobile Network operator Tigo has from Monday, reduced its call rates and introduced four new call plans which will go further to make communication on the network one of the most affordable in the market.
According a press release Monday, Tigo subscribers can now call other Tigo lines for only 7Gp per minute.
Tigo stated that the reduction of its call rates was as a result of consumer insights it gathered that beyond innovative and solution based products enjoyed by subscribers, they also want to be able to make calls at an appreciably lower rate than what pertains on the market now.
According to Tigo, it is with this preamble in mind coupled with the fact that every subscriber is unique that it decided to give all Tigo subscribers the opportunity to either call other Tigo subscribers for only 7Gp per minute or choose any of the four new call plans that suits their needs.
The new call plans are; Triple Bonus, Triple Bonus IDD, Super Zone and Stop the Clock.
According to the statement, if subs do not choose any of these call plans, they can simply enjoy Tigo’s new reduced call rate of 7GP per minute for Tigo to Tigo Calls or 12GP per minute to other local networks.
