Once again the heat is on as rising expectations await the grand finale of TV3 Mentor III.
Up for grab is a grand prize of a hundred million cedis (100,000,000) and a star crown of Mentor III.
Come Sunday 5th August at the Trade Fair Centre, fans of the four final contestants are expected to show clinching support through votes in order to make their favourite contestant win.
Lisa, Faya, Erico and Paul shall vie for the ultimate in a fierce contest of musical talent, confidence, personality and stage appeal. They will be battling for what eight other contestants left behind, as they couldn’t win enough votes to stay in the Mentor house.
The third edition of TV3’s popular reality show didn’t come without controversy, thanks to the case of Bright who had to leave the house for school even before the competition begun in earnest.
The second prize is a whopping thirty million (30,000,000) cedis, the third prize is twenty million (20,000,000) cedis and fourth prize is ten million (10,000,000) cedis.
Sources say music producers have already started pursuing some of the contestants for a record deal while some of the evictees are also busy working on an their albums.
Most of the contestants have become household names in Ghana with massive following after twelve weeks of action in the Mentor house.
The contestants shall be made to sing their own compositions for the first time during the competition on Sunday.
The judges have more power in the grand finale with fifty percent of the total votes instead of the well-known thirty percent and the public holds the other half of power to choose a Mentor III winner.
