Jamie Foxx has been announced as the host of next month's Michael Jackson tribute concert.
The R&B singer said he was "honoured" to be fronting the event, which takes place in Cardiff on 8 October.
Speaking to MTV News, Foxx said: "Michael was larger than life and I have admired him, honoured him, joked about him but always loved and respected him.
"I hope I honour his legacy in a way that would make him laugh and cry."
Christina Aguilera, JLS and Cee-Lo Green are due to perform live at the gig, at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.
The concert has been the subject of controversy in recent weeks, with some members of the Jackson family saying it has been "mishandled".
Jermaine and Randy Jackson have accused organiser Global Live of "misjudging" the timing of the event.
Michael Jackson's former doctor, Conrad Murray, is due to go on trial for involuntary manslaughter around the same time as the concert.
Jamie Foxx has previously collaborated with Kanye West and Lil Wayne.
In 2004, he won an Oscar for his portrayal of Ray Charles in the film based on late jazz singer's life story.
