About 21 traders, mostly women and children, sustained injuries when their vehicle was involved in an accident at Kofi Djan near Kwame Danso in the Brong-Ahafo Region.
The traders, who were returning to Kumasi after attending the Kajeji market, were taken to the Kwame Danso Health Centre where they were treated and discharged.
Madam Akosua Bema, one of the victims, said on reaching a section of the road between Kofi Djan and Dobi that was waterlogged and muddy, their driver slowed down.
But a bus attempted to overtake their vehicle and in an effort to avoid being hit by the bus their vehicle fell on its side.
Police confirmed the incident and said they were investigating.
