The premier beauty pageant to select a flag bearing beauty queen for the Institute of Professional Studies[IPS], FACE OF IPS looks set to receive a major facelift as it presents a bigger, better and more entertaining package this year.
Mi Prime Entertainment, an independent events outfit popular for its hiphop and arts driven events such as Bless The Mic and the BTM Arts and Culture festival at Alliance Francaise has been given the mandate organize this year’s event and they are looking to inject some of the excitement and sheer panache that has made the BTM Arts ad Music Festival an annual showcase for all.
Auditions for this year’s event has been held at the Wizzy Lounge in East Legon, from which 10 elegant, beautiful and intelligent ladies have been selected. Amongst the judges were Big Brother 2 representative Kwaku T.
The 10 pretty ladies are currently undergoing a 3 week grooming session which involves 3 photoshoots at the state of the art OPTEC Studios [powered AMC] as well swimming and catwalk lessons at the Lizzy Sports Complex amongst others.
The show will take place at the National Theatre on 21st October with artistes such as Praye, Tiffany and Macho Rapper among others.
