About 100 golfers would be meeting at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra to vie for this year's trophy of the CAL Bank Open Golf Championship slated for Saturday, August 18.
Mr Kwesi Oteng-Aboagye, General Manager of the Achimota Golf Club, who announced this in Accra on Sunday, said the one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition, is open to amateur and professional golfers throughout the country.
He said the event, which would be played under the local rules of the Club, has Handicap 18 as the entry requirement for the Men's event with the Ladies category as Handicap 24.
Mr Oteng-Aboagye said some of the male golfers who would be playing for Achimota include Michael Aggrey, Mike Ezan, Charles Tabi, Kwame Saarah-Mensah, Bob Evans and Yaw Assah-Sam.
The Ladies section would also see Mona Captan, Elizabeth Essel Koomson, Esi Cobbina, Esther Antwi and Eunice Adzakpo.
Mr Frank Adu Junior, Managing Director of the Bank would be the Special Guest of Honour.
