Maxwell Konadu is keen on finishing off Ghana’s CHAN opponents, Burkina Faso when they face in the second leg qualifier in Kumasi.
The Black Stars “B” were pegged back twice in a 4 goal thriller in Ouagadougou to leave the second leg wide open.
Ghana has a slight advantage of the two away goals but the former Asante Kotoko is leaving nothing to chance ahead of the meeting.
For him, the fighting spirit of their opponents is testament to the threat the possess heading into the Kumasi tie.
“We can’t downplay the efforts the Burkinabe team put in the game. They did very well,” he told reporters after the game.
"In my opinion, when you are done twice and come back to equalize is not easy but they were able to do it."
The team let in two goals with the second being a defensive blunder and Konadu has confirmed they will be looking to improve that area in the coming week.
"We also have to make sure we strengthen our defence before the second leg."
The second leg is scheduled for Kumasi in 8 days.
