Last season’s Glo Premiership Goal King Nana Poku, has made his intentions for this season clear, saying, he will score more than the 16 goals he scored for the goal king crown to retain it.
“I am back to repeat what I did last season, so defenders should beware. I will dribble them and score even more. None of them can stop me”. He told Asempa FM.
The goal poacher caught the attention of Berekum Chelsea after his wonderful exploits with Berekum Arsenal last season, making the defending league champions sign him on a three year contract, but just before the start of this season, he left for Egyptian side Al Ittihad Al Sakandry.
Efforts to play for Ittihad proved futile due to his ITC delay, but he is back to the country to play for Chelsea. Nana didn’t start last season with his former club but was able to bang in the goals for the crown and believes even though he is yet to kick a ball for the Berekum side, the goal king is his target.
He also sees no team as a threat to Berekum Chelsea this season.
