Caf has announced the shortlist for this year’s African Player of the Year. It includes three Ghanaians for the second time in a row.The three Ghanaians are Andre Ayew, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Asamoah Gyan, in addition to seven others.The list was announced at a short ceremony in Accra on Wednesday morning.Samuel Eto'o could win the award for the fourth time, which will be a record at a ceremony to be held on December 22 in Accra.His competitors will include Ivorian powerhouse Didier Drogba, Yaya Toure and Gervinho.The others are Morocco's Adel Taraabt, Moussa Sow of Senegal and Seydou Keita of Mali.This ten-man shortlist will be whittled down to five, and then three, before the final ceremony next month.
