Allied Oil Company has opened a new filling station, built at the cost of GH¢400,000.00 at Nyinahin in the Atwima-Mponua District, with stern warning to the employees to resist any temptation to shortchange customers.
Mr Thomas Souza, Area Sales Co-coordinator of the Northern Sector, said those who would adulterate oil products and engage in other forms of cheating would be sacked.
He said the company had inaugurated another station at Nkatia on the Kumasi-Barekese road.
Mr Souza expressed gratitude to the Nyinahin Traditional Council for releasing land for the project.
The District Chief Executive, Mrs Theresa Adomako Tawiah, commended the company for establishing the station that would create jobs for the people.
She asked employees of the company to ensure good customer-care and to be honest and transparent in their dealings.
Nana Oti Buadua, the Akwamuhene of Nyinahin, promised that the traditional council would release land for development projects and businesses in the area.
