Vodafone Ghana has rewarded its ten topmost customers and business partners for their loyalty with an all-expenses paid trip to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The once in a lifetime opportunity included a first class flight to Abu Dhabi, accommodation in a six star hotel, exclusive access to the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team practice sessions and the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes VIP club and spending money.
The lucky guests were three long-term customers who had been on the network for over 11 years, two distributors and five business customers.
Vodafone plc has been a major sponsor of the McLaren Formula 1 team since 2007 and customers worldwide have benefitted in many ways from the partnership. This trip is the second Grand Prix reward Vodafone Ghana has given selected customers this year; the first coming off in July when a number of business customers were treated to an all-expenses paid trip to the Silverstone Grand Prix.
Commenting on Vodafone’s unique reward system, Uche Ofodile said ‘We are able to bring this experience of a lifetime to our customers because as a powerful global brand we are able to form partnerships with elite brands such as formula one. Whether you are a F1 fan or not, it is an amazing experience and this is what we bring to our loyal customers. We value customer loyalty and we will continue to reward our customers in unique and interesting ways’.
The guests were given the opportunity to meet and dine with the former F1 champion and McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton and danced the night away with special guests Paul McCartney and Britney Spears.
