They were, Mr Mahamudu Iddrisu, Chairman, Chief Abudu Bukari, Vice-Chairman, Mr Nuhu Mankama, First Trustee and Alhaji Abdul-Aziz Adams, Second Trustee.
Mr Benson asked executives of the union, to strive for high standards among its members for passengers to feel comfortable and safe on the road.
He noted that the state of their vehicles, standard of driving and treatment meted out to passengers would determine whether tourists would return to the country.
Mr Benson appealed to road users to be disciplined and adhere to rule and regulations with regard to the use of the road and avoid the use of unregistered motorbikes and riding without crash helmets.
Nana Yaw Manu, National Chairman of GPRTU said it had taken delivery of some commercial vehicles on hire purchase to members.
Mr Stephen Okudjeto, General Secretary of the union called on the regional unions to acquire at least one of the buses to generate revenue to support their activities instead of relying on membership dues.
