Right Reverend Dr Emmanuel K. Gbordzoe, Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church has appealed to the youth to shun "neo-pagan cultures" and imbibe firmly the tenets of Christianity to become God's chosen vessels.
He urged the youth to "epitomize the courage of David, the wisdom of King Solomon and the strength of Sampson" to make a difference.
Rev Dr Gbordzoe said this in a sermon to mark the end of a five-day Annual National Youth Camp at Jasikan on the theme, " You Can Make A Difference".
It was attended by over 4,000 youths from across the country, Togo and Cote d'Ivoire.
He told the youth to live above inordinate earthly and material craze, fallen standards and moral decadence.
Rev Dr Gbordzoe said the bang-wagon effect of the youth's empathy for fashion and modernity would spell doom for their existence and advised them to redirect their energies towards constructive and progressive endeavours to exemplify God.
Rev Samuel K. Dumevi, Programmes and Inter-Church Relations Secretary urged the youth to distinguish themselves since they had the capacity to do so.
"I can see future presidents, engineers, doctors, teachers, consultants, politicians and chief executives in the multitudes," he said
