rLG Communications Ghana is expanding opportunities for the youth and persons with disability to be gainfully employed.
Officials of the pioneer mobile phone assembling company say the Ashanti region has a fair share of the employment avenues.
“The company currently engages 950 youth in the region, including 18 physically challenged”, says Baba Seidu, rLG Regional Sales Manager.
He told Luv Biz Report the company is most interested in providing sustainable jobs for majority of the Ghanaian youth, including merchandising of the locally assembled mobile phones and laptop computers.
The rLG Training Institute has also been impacting ICT skills and knowledge to the youth under the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP).
According to Baba Seidu, the purchase of any rLG product offers an avenue for employment and expansion of local economic development.
“Someone (sales representative) goes out and is able to make GHS50.00 a day. This is why we are calling on everybody to patronize rLG because when you patronize RLG’s products, you’re helping in building the economy of this country”.
The company will soon open a mega showroom in Kumasi to afford client easy access to products and services.
