DStv Mobile has launched the Walka, a DVB-H handheld TV device which will enable DStv subscribers to watch television on the go.The launch of the Walka follows a long line of technology innovations associated with the DStv brand - including the Drifta, DStv Mobile, High Definition PVR decoders and integrated customer service tools.Country Manager of DStv Mobile Limited, Edward Kwame Owusu explains that with the new Walka device, subscribers within DStv Mobile network coverage areas in Accra, Tema and their environs will now have access to the channels on the DStv Mobile DVB-H network.“With the launch of the Walka device, we are yet again breaking new ground in the pay TV industry. The device does not require Wi-Fi, 3G or PC connectivity.
