Wassaman fired coach Herbert Addo on Monday after only half a season, with the club bottom of the Glo Premier League.
Addo who guided Aduana Stars to the title on their premiership debut two seasons ago has failed to make the same impact with Wassaman and has paid the price.
“We have terminated the appointment of the coach and it was mutual. We believe he has lost control and it time for him to leave,” CEO Kingsley Baidoo said on radio.
Under Addo, Wassaman won only two of 15 matches, drew three and earned 9 points, leaving the club bottom of the standings having conceded 23 goals so far.
The experienced coach was handed the job after Wassaman gained promotion for their debut premier league campaign.
The Premier League resumes February 19.
