Togbe Afede XIV chairs reconstituted board of Accra Hearts of Oak
Investment banker, Togbe Afede XIV has been appointed chair of the reconstituted board of sporting club Accra Hearts of Oak. It follows some changes in the club’s shareholding structure after it went public to raise 2.5 million Ghana cedis.
With nearly 40 percent interest in the club presently, Togbe Afede who is also the CEO of Strategic African Securities (SAS) is now the single majority shareholder in the club.
Togbe Afede takes over from Commodore Mensah, who has chaired the club for some time. Other notable persons on the twelve member board include, Managing Director of Stanbic Bank, Alhasan Adani and the current CEO of the club, Fred Crenstil among others.
