Prospective subscribers of sixth Mobile Operator, GLO Mobile beginning today, 19 January, 2011 would be afforded the opportunity to reserve their preferred numbers on the network. This is however after the launch of the company’s initiative dubbed “Reserve Your Number Campaign” later today.
The launch represents first of a series of activities that would culminate in the ultimate launch of the company’s operations. This means prospective subscribers would not be able to make and receive calls on the network today as earlier thought until later.
JOY BUSINESS has learnt some one million numbers on the network’s 0233 series have been made available for reservation. Later today therefore, interested subscribers could send SMS of their preffered numbers to a specified code (to be announced at today’s launch) and have their numbers reserved on “first-come, first served” basis.
