A forum for consumers and customers dissatisfied with the services of companies they deal with now have a forum where they can express their frustrations.
Poor customer service is a topical issue in Ghana and appears to be the norm to receive poor services than the exception.
The creators of Kuzima.com say they are simply tired of insensitive, rude, disrespectful service providers who treat customers and consumers with scant regard.
The Chief Executive of Kuzima.com , Mr Michael K. Ocansey told Myjoyonline.com, that “you can help promote quality customer service by shaming and praising companies that provide services.”
He said elsewhere customers are treated with great respect but in Ghana service providers behave as if they are doing customers and consumers a favour – a situation he said must change.
Mr Ocansey believes that if all customers make their voices heard by using the singular platform, service providers will sit up.
Explaining how the platform works, he said customers who are dissatisfied with the services of a particular company simply need to visit the site and vent their frustrations there, i.e. shame the company involved.
He said in recognition of the fact that a few companies give their customers a good treat, the forum allows customers to also praise their companies.
All that customers need to do is simply register for free and they can express their opinions on service quality of companies they deal with.
Mr Ocansey maintained that malicious comments designed to unjustifiably malign companies will be trashed.
He believes managers of companies can use the views expressed on Kuzima.com to gain insights into the behavior of their contact personnel.
