The Word Miracle Church International (WMCI) has ended its four-day 20th anniversary convention in Accra with a call on Ghanaians to get actively involved in the fight against corruption.
Bishop Dr. Charles Agyin-Asare, the founder and leader of the WMCI, who made the call also entreated the Church to shun corruption in the country.
The event which brought together members in and outside the country was held under the theme: "The total Counsel of God to the total Man".
Bishop Agyin-Asare said the Church had grown since the 20 years of its existence and was heading for higher grounds in its evangelical outreach and miracle mission.
He urged Christians to be ambassadors of truth and development for the country and not embodiment of falsehood and stagnation.
Bishop Agyin-Asare asked Christians to lead the war against indiscipline, corruption and to eschew all negative tendencies adding "think and do things that would gain the country God’s favour and blessings. "
He asked Christians to allow themselves to be used by God for "His work and they will be a blessing to our generation."
Bishop Agyin-Asare also appealed to Ghanaians to live healthy lifestyles since the nation needed healthy citizens for development.
