The Vice President was the chief waiter serving men and women in uniform at the 2017 General Headquarters West African Soldiers Social Activities (WASSA) Celebration of the Ghana Armed Forces at Burma Camp.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia spoke about government and the nation's appreciation of the men and women in uniform.
He said ongoing operations such as Calm life, Cow Leg and Vanguard will also continue to receive special attention to ensure their success.
Serving alongside the Vice President were the Defense Minister, Dominic Nitiwul and Chief of Defense Staff, Major General Obed Akwa.
