Revenue collectors have been advised to be innovative in their revenue collection activities.
The performance of each assembly in mobilising internally generated funds (IGF) was the main yardstick for the disbursement of the District Assembly's Common Fund and every revenue collector must work extra hard to exceed their targets.

He said the awards was aimed at motivating them to give off their best and to assist the district to increase its IGF to support its developmental works.
Three revenue superintendents received 50 Ghana cedis each and a bicycle as their prize.
They are Mr. Robert Arhinful, Mr. John Cudjoe and Mr. K. Osei-Boateng.
The award winners expressed their gratitude to the assembly for honouring them and pledged to work hard and improve on the assembly's revenue base.
Mr. Henry K. Konadu, District Finance Officer praised some of the revenue collectors for their efforts.
He however cautioned that those who engage in acts to deprive the assemble revenue should change.
