The Member of Parliament for Assin North Kennedy Agyapong is expected to appear in court today.
Mr Agyapong is facing charges of treason felony, attempted genocide and engaging in terrorist acts. He has however pleaded not guilty.
At the last hearing the prosecution stated that it had still not received the docket from the police which they had to study and prayed the court to adjourn the case.
The Assin North MP was therefore granted a GH¢ 200,000 bail and was due to reappear on 23rd May 2012.
Mr Agyapong was arrested by the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) last month for his inflammatory comments on an Accra-based radio Oman FM.
