Two female students of the Christian Service University College were allegedly kidnapped last night by two unidentified men.
The students, all married women whose names are being withheld were allegedly kidnapped soon after they completed their semester exams while they stood by the road to board vehicles home after closing from school.
One of the victims told Nhyira News the kidnappers blind-folded her and her colleague with a cloth and drove them to an unknown place.
The kidnappers, armed with pistols, did not take kindly to one of the students who was praying ceaselessly and ended up assaulting her, inflicting some marks on her neck.
Luck however smiled on the women after another unidentified man showed up and told the attackers the ladies were not the targets he had sent them after.
The man who spoke Hausa allegedly rebuked the kidnappers and asked them to free their captives.
Later after the assailants had left them stranded in the bush, the women scurried to the roadside where they realised they had been sent to the Obuasi area.
As at the time of filing this story, the police were yet to be told of the incident. The matter has however been reported to the Dean of Students of the College, Adade Yeboah, but he has failed to answer several phone calls Nhyira News placed to him.
Meanwhile, information reaching Nhyira News says officials of the college are locked up in a meeting while some student groups intend to officially petition management to tighten security.
