Visiting Kpando Heart of Lions on Sunday chalked a massive win when they humiliated Sekondi Hasaacas with a 4-2 score line before the home supporters at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.
Lions scored three of their goals through centre forward Sadat Bukari, who notched a hat trick in the 22nd and 35th minutes of the first half and added the third goal in the 41st minute of the second half.
Hasaacas who played before a sparse crowd at home, scored their first goal in the first minute in a goalmouth melee through Joe Bissah when the visitors yet to settle.
The home side scored the second goal in 60th minute of the second half through Samuel Ellis.
Hasaacas should have carried the day if their strikers were able to utilise the several scoring opportunities that came their way. Lions however played a disciplined and well-focused game that made some die-hard supporters of Hasaacas to applaud their skills, speed and accuracy in a match that was officiated by FIFA referee Reginald Lanbridge.
Some supporters of Hasaacas however nearly assaulted the referee and his assistants as they accused them of biased officiating but the presence of the Police prevented any incident from occurring. Sadat was voted the best player of the match and presented with Ghana Telecom products.
