WAFA coach Klaus Rasmussen has acknowledged Asante Kotoko's 'strong' performance against his side and says the Porcupine Warriors are capable of clinching the Ghana Premier League title this season.
Kotoko earned their first ever point in Sogakope after they fought back to draw 1-1. Manchester City-bound winger Aminu Mohammed gave WAFA the lead in three minutes but striker Yakubu Mohammed restored parity with a good finish. The goal was Kotoko's first at the Red Bull Arena.

The Academy boys were denied the winning goal by goalkeeper Felix Annan, who made about four saves.
In a post-match interview, Rasmussen expressed disappointment his side could not take full spoils but he was full of praise for his opponent.
"I'm satisfied we got a point but I'm a little bit disappointed we didn't take all the points," Rasmussen stated.
"But they gave a strong performance and I believe they are one of the favourites to win the league, so I will say I'm happy about the whole outcome but then again I will say we should have had all the three points."
WAFA lost about 10 first team players in the offseason with notable names including Gideon Waja, Caleb Amankwah, Komlan Agbegniadan, Emmanuel Boateng and Majeed Ashimeru. So asked if their absence affected his side, Rasmussen responded "You can't compare the two sides. I will not make that comparison but I will say is that we'll do our best and I'm happy with the way we played."
WAFA will play as guest of Liberty while Kotoko host Inter Allies in next matchday.
