Trustees of the new pension are projecting a pension’s fund industry that is rife with competition and offers the best returns for its clients.
With the implementation of the scheme yet to start there is ongoing heated competition with fund managers, custodians and trustees seeking for clients.
Enterprise Trustees Limited launched its Pensions Trusteeship Tuesday.
It’s Executive Director Kwaku Yeboah-Asuamah told Joy Business, the rife activities will inure to the benefits of customers.
“When we had only SSNIT, nobody had a choice. Now there are a lot of choices. You choose who to go with. When you are not happy with any trustee, you can change.
“Competition will bring efficiency, reduce cost and ultimately inure to the benefit of the policy holders or members,” he stated.
“Pension contributors want transparency. They want to see their investments grow. And that’s what Enterprise Trustees Limited will offer,” Mr Yeboah-Asuamah assured.
