Netherlands winger Arjen Robben does not believe that Germany are as much of an attacking force as has been claimed.
Both sides were highlighted as pre-tournament favourites, but Oranje's shock defeat to Denmark in the opening round of matches has left Bert van Marwijk's side on the brink of crashing out of the tournament.
Die Mannschaft, meanwhile, ground out a narrow victory over Portugal, and Robben has claimed that Joachim Low's side are not as attacking as is made out.
"Some people say that Germany play fresh and attacking football, but I have to disagree," he told De Telegraaf. "They're mainly a counter-attacking team, and are not as attacking as Spain or Oranje."
"Netherlands have more individual quality than Germany. They have some great players, but are most of all a solid team."
But despite being confident, the Bayern Munich man is fully aware of what is at stake should his team lose.
"It will be make or break. We all have plenty of quality at Oranje, and we have to show it against Germany. Of course we can beat them. All the Dutch players must have the conviction that we can beat them."
As well as Low's team, Group B rivals Denmark can also seal their passage to the quarter-finals, if they beat Portugal on Wednesday.
