Sunday’s Premier League action kick-off at the Emirates Stadium.
Can Southampton pick up a huge away win to boost their survival hopes?
If Southampton can win at Arsenal, they’ll move level on points with Crystal Palace. The Saints would also have a game in a hand over the Eagles. But betting on a Southampton away win is a major long shot. Mark Hughes’s men only have one win in their last 18 matches.
As for Arsenal, Arsene Wenger’s side seem to be having their standard strong end to a season. Joy Sports Gary Al-Smith and Nii Akwei are back on the predictions circuit.
The Gunners are fully focused on trying to win the Europa League to qualify for the Champions League. Yet they also come into the Saints game on the back of five straight victories in all competitions.
Here's our prediction.
Later, Chelsea take on West Ham in a derby.
The Blues suffered a fourth home defeat of the campaign last weekend, rendering their pursuit of the top four forlorn, and they may have surrendered their title by kick-off. These are difficult times for Antonio Conte. West Ham were buoyed by that restorative thrashing of Southampton, but are hardly clear of the relegation scrap just yet as they pursue a first win across the capital since September 2002.
