Listeners of Joy FM are heaping tons of praise to the only Sir in Ghana football, who for the first time in many months is making an appearance on radio and on Joy FM.
Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio has been indoors treating a throat ailment but decided to come out to speak with Ghanaians and to return to the sports he so badly misses.
Some members of the 64 Battalion, as the Hearts of Oak squad of the 1999-2000 was affectionately called, Ishmael Addo and Amankwaa Mireku joined Sir Cecil to eulogise the coach they so adore.
On Friday, a ceremonial match will be played to raise funds for the man who has given everything as a player and a coach and listeners had no choice but to call and buy tickets ahead of the game.
Kwame Sefa Kayi, Harry Zakour, Egbert Faibille, Haruna Iddrisu, Kennedy Agyapong of Kotoko all called to share their indelible memories of the SIR, and pledged to buy tickets at some handsome prizes for Friday's game.
