The Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana has hinted government that hospital pharmacists could embark on another nationwide strike if they are not quickly migrated onto the single spine salary structure.
A statement issued by the society at the end of its meeting says there is growing agitation among members and warns the situation could soon get out of control.
Government and Hospital pharmacists are so far the only public sector clinical health professionals who have still not been migrated onto the new pay policy.
They withdrew their services a couple of months ago over the issue but returned to work when the sector Minster intervened with assurances that their grievances would be addressed immediately.
President of the society, James Ohemeng Kyei, told Joy News the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission must act fast to calm nerves.
