New entrant into the telecommunications market, Glo Mobile now has 2% of the total market share.
That’s according to latest figures from the National Communication Authority as at May, 2012.
MTN had a marginal decrease but maintained its position as the market leader with a subscriber base of almost 11 million representing 47% of the total market share.
Vodafone’s followed with a subscriber base of almost 5million representing 21% of the total market share.
Tigo has 15% of the market share followed by Airtel with 14%. Expresso decreased its subscriber base to 1% of the total market share.
