Virtual Security Africa, one of the leading distributors of state-of-the-art security products and services in the country has opened a new showroom at Tesano, near Karldoff in Accra.The showroom exhibits the companies range of security products and the latest technology that could help prevent crime.The first real time High Definition Serial Digital Interface DVR has the capacity to optimise the maximum surveillance level and allows the users to monitor and have detailed view with the world standard protocol.It could be used at Banks, Courts, Jewelry shops and showrooms, to reduce incidences of thefts and other criminal activities.The device which allows users the opportunity to connect their DVR not only from PC but also with their mobile phones, has been introduced on the Ghanaian market by Virtual Security Africa Limited.Chief Executive Officer of Virtual Security Africa, Emmanuel Asiedu told JOY BUSINESS that the addition of the latest technology, was in furtherance to their quest to provide solutions to security problems for their clients.Mr. Asiedu disclosed that other security monitoring gadgets such as the HC264 HD DVR with 15TB Internal Storage, HD-CCTV (SDI DVR and cameras), 700 TVL High Resolution and the Wireless CCTV for elevators are currently being marketed, installed and serviced by Virtual Security Africa, at very competitive prices.The CEO entreated the Ghana Highway Authority to consider installing security cameras on the country’s major highways, to monitor the activities of criminals and highway robbers.He made a passionate appeal to the government and private organisations to resource the security agencies to enable them competently and effectively combat crime and fight criminal without endangering their lives.He said the current situation where armed criminals shoot and kill police officers because the police are probably wearing poor protective gear was unacceptable and must be dealt with urgently.
